Founded in 2023 as NLSAT Self Prep (NSP) by NLU students and alumni, the initiative addressed the lack of quality resources after the inaugural NLSAT. It quickly grew into India’s largest free NLSAT resource platform and Telegram community.
In 2025, driven by student demand for structured courses, mock tests, live classes, and mentorship, NSP evolved into Lawfren. In its very first batch, 1 in 2 Lawfren students secured admission to an NLU for the 3 Year LL.B., reflecting the platform’s strong track record and student-first approach.
Now, through CLAT Self Prep, Lawfren is bringing the same student led, mentorship driven approach to 5 Year LL.B. entrance exams, with the goal of creating a similar impact for aspirants preparing for CLAT, AILET, and other law entrance examinations.
